This is a new effort but we are organizing a FireWise USA Community for Butterfield Ranch in Chino Hills. If it works the way I think, it might allow you to qualify for a discount on your homeowners insurance bill.
The Firewise USA program is co-sponsored by the USDA Forest Service, the US Department of the Interior, and the National Association of State Foresters. Firewise.org was produced in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service.
